The traditional architecture in the history of China,is being lost due to the rapid growth of the economy.One of them is the Courtyard house which is believed to have a special charming atmosphere that is not found in modern home building of China.By focusing on the spatial characteristic structure,and how is its spatial composition,we could as well capture the varied traditional architecture in China,and find a new method of housing project in the future.In this study,we analyze the overall the Courtyard house distributed across China from the point of view of the spatial organization and evaluation of space.We classify the type of analysis for the plane ——sectional configuration of the Courtyard house,identify the spatial characteristics of the Courtyard house.
