An efficient and selective extraction was developed to improve the yield of the poorly water-soluble quercitrin by mechanochemical technology.The mechanochemical-assisted extraction (MCAE) parameters were optimized under the following conditions:ratio of material to solid reagent (Na2CO3) 9 g/g,milling time 7 rain and ratio of solution to solid 28 mL/g.Under these conditions,the yield of quercitrin was 8.23 mg/g.Scanning electron microscope (SEM),X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and infra-red spectrum (IR) were used for characterizing the morphological changes and the structural transformation caused by mechanochemical pretreatment.In comparison to the supeme grinding extraction and heat-reflux extraction,mechanochemicai technology showed the advantages of efficiency,much lower extraction temperature and extraction time.
