Firstly,Beggs-Brill method can be used for pipe flowcalculation of both downhill and uphill,the pipe flow of steam injection in steam injection well and steam flooding well belongs to the downhill.The flowing media of steam injectionis steam-liquid,which has little difference with gas-liquid.Meanwhile,all flow patterns in the flowingwereincluded in the pressurecalculation of Beggs-Brill which had just made a prominent contribution to the slippage area,but the wellbore pressure distributionused to be got through basic momentum equation,in which pressure drop wascalculatedby the parameters in average,for example,the density,et al.,but the effect caused by slippage between steam and liquid is neglected,especially when the dryness fraction of steam is very small,and the slippage surely exists,the averaged method is obviously not accurate.Therefore,the paper proposed the Beggs-Brill method tobe the method for pressure calculation of steam injection,and illustrates the process in detail.Using the on-site data to test and verify feasibility,it turns out that Beggs Brill is suitable to calculate pressure distribution with high accuracy,of which the process is also applicable.
