Objective Airway smooth muscle (ASM) remodeling is a characteristic feature of airway remodeling in asthma, which is often attributed to ASM cells proliferation, migration and their progenitor cells migration.Our previous study found that heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (HB-EGF) could promote ASM cells proliferation.Here, we go on to explore the role of HB-EGF in ASM and their progenitor cells migration.
