Recent studies have revealed that the mammalian genomes encode tens of thousands of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) (1).LncRNAs are a class of transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides, usually transcribed by RNA polymerase Ⅱ, 5capped, spliced, and polyadenylated, but with little/no protein-coding potential (1).
