Family poultry keeping is widely accepted as a successful instrument to improve livelihood and nutritional status of rural households.Indigenous poultry keeping is popular and economically viable due to some favorable attributes like disease resistance,adaptability to adverse environment conditions and adoptability for locally available feeds.
