The Aβ25-35 peptide is a peculiar peptide that differs from all the other commonly studied β-amyloid peptides because of its extremely rapid aggregation properties and its aggregates would be highly toxic and result in Alzheimers disease. Here, the interactions between gold nanoparticles (GNPs) and Aβ25-35 monomers, oligomers and fibrils under different molar ratio, temperature and pH are explored by ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) and circular dichromatism (CD) spectra, thioflavin T (ThT) fluorescence assay and transmission electron microscope (TEM).
