Objective To evaluate the effect of rhBMP-2/HA-TcP composite on repairing bone defect in osteoporotic rats.Methods Thirty female SD rats(8 monks old)were randomly divided into two groups.In experimental groupovariectomy was performed and in control group sham operation was received.Twelve weeks after surgery,cylindricaldefect which diameter is 3.0 mm and depth is the CO-width ofcortical bone and cavitas mcdullaris were performed on bothcondyles offemur.All defects in experimental group were randomly divided into two groups and were implanted:HA/TCPgroup and rbBMP-2/HA-TCP group.The defects in control group Were all implanwA by rhBMP-2/HA-TCP composites.The effect of bone defect healing WaS evaluated in the 4th、8th and 12th weeks after implanting by histomorphology、radiology、bone mineral density(BMD) and vitodynamics.
