In this study,solid lubrication FeS film was made on the surface of AISl1045 steel by low temperature ion sulfuration.SEM was used to observe the surface and cross-section morphologies of FeS film.The element components on the surface were analyzed by X-ray energy spectrometer.The phases were determined by XRD; X-ray stress determinator was utilized to measure the residual stress.The nano-hardness and elastic modulus of FeS film were surveyed by nano-indentation tester.The results showed that the surface of FeS film was piled up geometrically by plenty of minute spherical particles.The grain size and distribution were both homogeneous.The particle diameters ranged from 50 nm to 100 nm.FeS film was loose,with lots of micropores and well crystallizing.The cross-section morphology of FeS film was a black layer with thickness of 4 μm.The interface between FeS film and substrate was jagged,and there was not visible transition layer.
