In this study, the well-known surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS),which was first discovered in 1970s last century [1] and has been put into wide applications at ambient temperature and pressure [2],has been obtained from pyridine molecules adsorbed on solid substrate immersed in low concentration pyridine solution at ambient temperature and high pressure up to 1145 MPa in a commonly used diamond anvil cell(DAC).

The transition metal dihalides MX2(M: transition metal,X: halogen)have long been attracting attention as one of the prototypes of antiferromagnets with a triangular lattice[1] and due to their multife
The liquid Earths outer core is mainly constructed of iron-nickel alloy. The Earths core has been found to be 5-10%less dense than pure iron [1],which is called “the core density deficit problem”.
The strength and texture of sodium chloride in the B1 and B2 phases were investigated in a diamond anvil cell using synchrotron X-ray diffraction in a radial geometry to 56 GPa.
Synchrotron X-ray diffraction(XRD)was used to measure the unit cell parameters of synthetic pyrope(Mg3Al2Si3O12),grossular(Ca3Al2Si3O12)and six intermediate garnet solid solutions.Garnets synthesized
Plate motion and upper mantle convention in response to driving forces in Earths interior is mostly governed by rheological properties of minerals which compose these regions.
The rheology is crucial for interpretation of a wide range of geodynamic processes, such as the strain localization at plate boundaries, the attenuation of seismic waves, and fluid and melt transport. The
In-situ measurement of thermal conductivity under high temperature and pressure on DAC is an important subject for high pressure technical innovation, which is very significant for the study of thermal
In seafloor hydrothermal activity, oxygenated seawater passes through the fractures and pores of the oceanic crust and is then heated by magma, forming oxidative NaCl containing hydrothermal fluids.
The rare earth elements(REE)are critical metals for many high-technology industries. The light REE occur dominantly in fluorocarbonate minerals, mainly bastn(a)site((Ce,La)CO3F).However,despite the impo
