Background,Motivation and Objective Microbubble-based ultrasound contrast agents can be targeted to cancer disease markers present on the endothelium,providing molecular-based contrast between normal and diseased tissue.Imaging methods,such as contrast pulse sequence(CPS) and pulse inversion(PI),are capable of capturing the non-linear acoustic reflections from microbubbles,but tend to also capture harmonic signal from echogenic tissue interfaces.
