  Excessive beta(13-35Hz)oscillations have been observed in the basal ganglia of patients with Parkinsons disease(PD).Understanding how beta oscillations originate and can be reduced are important to improve treatments of PD.Using a biophysical model of the cortex-basal ganglia-thalamus network,we first characterize the sensitivity of subthalamic nucleus(STN),globus pallidus externa(GPe)and globus pallidus interna(GPi)beta oscillations to the blockage of different synaptic connections.

抑郁症是当前世界上最普遍且极度威胁生命的神经精神疾病之一。从根本上攻克抑郁症,需要从认知神经动力学的角度探索抑郁症的编码模式。本文的研究对象为多巴胺环路的中脑腹侧被盖区中的伏隔核中型多棘神经元,依据抑郁症大鼠与正常大鼠的神经元发放模式的不同,以H-H 方程为基础,结合生理学与行为学特点进行建模仿真,得到了抑郁症大鼠中型多棘神经元细胞的一种数值模拟方法,并从能量角度进行分析。
在自然界中,为了精确判断自身运动的前进方向,动物需要整合多种感知觉输入包括内耳前庭和视觉光流。但是,这两种自身运动信息在大脑中的传递通路目前尚不清楚。近年来,对人脑的功能磁成像的实验表明后扣带回皮层具有前庭和视觉光流的信号。为此我们采用一个虚拟现实系统,提供视觉光流刺激,同时通过真实的平台运动来提供前庭刺激,分别测量了猕猴的后扣带回皮层神经元对三维空间中自身运动的平移和旋转这两种基本分量的调谐。
