Background:Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) includes conventional and combined SCLC.Combined SCLCs accounts for 28％ of SCLCs who were received surgical resection, but it is reported only about 1％～3％ of SCLCs diagnosed by biopsy or puncture.Less than 5％ SCLCs are suitable for surgical treatment.It is significant to seek optional methods to find combined SCLCs.The value of carcino-embryonic antigen (CEA) in lung adenocarcinoma is usually over the normal range,and the value of squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC) in lung squamous cell carcinoma is also usually high.To better identify the conventional SCLCs and combined SCLCs,we evaluated the effect of CEA and SCC in adjuvant diagnosis.
