n-Butanol is regarded as a new alternative biofuel.Unfortunately,the toxicity of n-butanol to microorganism has been an important factor limiting its production.In this work,we obtained a strain which can tolerate 2 %(v/v) n-butanol using global transcription machinery engineering (gTME) combined with high throughput screening.Further we used DNA microarray to assess the transcriptome response of n-butanol tolerance strain.The results showed that:compared with the non-tolerant strains,329 (197 up-regulated and 132 down-regulated) differentially expressed genes were identified (p<0.05;FC>2).
