  This paper descnibes the technology of wideband digital downconverter(WDDC)for synthetic instruments(Sis).DDCs first mix the wideband signal with the local frequency generated by numerically controlled oscillator,and then filter the mixed signal with a low pass filter,finally the signal with lower frequencY range is acquired.The structure of parallel DDC and realization of NCOs in parallel DDC are introduced to meet the need of the processing speed of devices used for data processing.
