  In this letter,normalized method is proposed and deduced in detail for photonic crystal fiber(PCF) s effective mode area analysis and design.The validation and the implementation of the normalized effective mode area is also presented by multi pole method.For a class of PCFs with same air-filling fraction but different cladding air-hole pitches,numerical computing the effective mode area only needs to be carried on a certain model.The effective mode area of the PCFs for the rest of the class can be readily obtained by a simple and time-saving coordinate scaling.By employing this method,the PCFs effective mode area analysis and design could be greatly simplified.

本文建立一种研究光纤光栅群时延纹波(GDR)对微波光子滤波性能影响的理论模型,探讨了群时延纹波对相干光源型和非相干光源型微波光子滤波器性能的影响。基于该理论模型,分别在随机分布的时延纹波和实测的时延纹波影响下,分析了时延纹波对微波光子滤波器幅频响应、相频响应的影响。对于相干光源型滤波器,时延纹波主要影响体现为陷波点频率的偏移,而对于非相干光源型滤波器的影响则体现为幅频响应形状和线性相位的畸变;在多
