  Effect of a new chemical additive on the hydration and strength development of phosphogypsum slag cement is studied.Compressive strength, porosity, and the hydration products are identified.The results showed that the use of polyaluminium chloride can improve greatly the compressive strength of phosphogypsum slag cement at both early and late ages.It reduces porosity and densities the microstructure.
