Object: To explore the feasibility and availability of bladder tumor endoscopic submucosal dissection (BT-ESD) technique, which use HybridKnife ((R) ERBE, Germany) to resect bladder urothelial tumor in Ta, T1 stage.Methods: In 12 patients diagnosed Ta or T1 stage bladder tumor, transurethral submucosal dissection was performed using the HybridKnife.Firstly, the resection margin which is l cm distant from tumor edge were marked by electrical coagulation with the HybridKnife.Subsequently, a submucosal fluid cushion specific to under the lamina propria layer was formed by the waterjet function of the HybridKnife, thereby elevating the tumorous.Then after cutting the mucous to expose the bladder muscle,the tumor was sharply or bluntly resected on the muscle.Subsequently the tumor was endoscopically extracted with a retrieval bag.Finally biopsy specimens of the tumor edges and base were collected.
