Al-Si matrix composites are widely used in rail transportation, automotive, aerospace and other fields owing to its high specific strength, specific stiffness, high wear resistance and corrosion resistance.In this work, multi-phased Al-Si matrix nanocomposites, reinforced with Al2O3 and graphenes, have been sintered by an in-situ vacuum hot-pressing (HP) method and hot isostatic pressing (HIP).Al2O3 nanoparticles were produced via SiO2/Al during the in-situ sintering process.Microstructure and mechanical properties of the sintered Al/Si/Al2O3/graphenes nanocomposites with different graphenes contents were investigated.
