Long term depression (LTD) plays a key function on sculpting circuits to store information in cerebellum,since the motor learning and memory are thought to associate with its long term change in synaptic efficacy.To better understand the transmitting of information in cerebellum,we firstly distinguish the three different neurons by type 1-like and type 2-like neurons to show the neuronal excitability and analyze the Interspike Intervals (ISIs) bifurcation phenomenon of them,and then build the Purkinje circuit to mainly study the impact of external stimuli to LTD of Purkinje circuit.From the computational analysis,both the climbing fiber-Purkinje cell and granule cell-Purkinje cell circuit are found to produce LTD;meanwhile the external stimuli would influence LTD both in the depression time and depression potential.All of the simulated results show that LTD is very significant in Purkinje circuit network.Finally,we simulate the Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity (STDP) by increasing the CaP conductance to deliver the learning rule.
