HacihalilogluandKabaasiare the well-known dried apricot cultivars in the world.Both cultivars are commonly cultivating in Malatya region in Turkey on nonstandard seedling rootstocks with 10x10 m and in some areas 12x12 m planting distance that showing difficulties in the cultural practices such as harvesting and pruning,low yield rate for per unit area,long juvenile period and in particular the presence of a high proportion of quality losses during harvesting.
