  Ta-W alloy is one of the candidate materials for divertor structural components of fusion reactors because of its high toughness,good compatibility with liquid alkali metals and high fabricability.The mature body-centered cubic rolling texture,including α and γ fibers,is developed in Ta-W alloy during cold-rolling.The γ-fiber(Normal direction//<111>)is composed of one or two groups of microbands when the cold-rolled reduction is larger than 40%.The rolling direction in a grain with Normal direction//<111> is spreading from <110> to <112>.The microbands in a grain share a common <111>.When the reduction is larger than 70%,a lots of irregular shear bands are formed in γ-fiber.Meanwhile,a lot of fine grains,{001}<120>,are formed in γ-fiber.
