An new method based on hollow fiber liposome microscreening (HFLMS) combined with HPLC has been developed and introduced for the separation and identi.cation of permeable compounds of flavonoids and anthraquinones in herbal medicines (HMs).Using this method,in the herbal extracts many permeable compounds that could specifically bind to liposome were screened into 30 μL liposome solution which is only reside in the pores and lumen of the porous hollow fiber,and then permeable constituents that interact with the liposomes are dissociated by certain solvents or solutions and analyzed by HPLC.
