A facile method is developed for the batch preparation of amphiphilic Janus gold nanoparticles(GNPs) by ultrosonic dispersion in dimethyl formamide from precursor films,which were synthesized by the liquid/liquid interfacial reaction(LLIR) between chloro(triphenyl)-phosphine gold in toluene and drops of tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride alkaline solution.
