A standard is a document that provides requirements,specifications,guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials,products,processes and services are fit for their purpose.In addition a standard(sometimes called a norm),is a formal document developed by experts to ensure a certain uniform level of products and services.International standards adapted by countries to suit the national situation,or directly adopted into national legislation,bring with them the great advantage of a tool which is agreed by the consensus of participants of national committees,with the aim of achieving high quality and safety.For the development of a particular industry,it needs many factors and it is natural that HVAC-R industry is also applied in these laws.To improve the industry,it is necessary to develop a new technology that can create a new market,a new market is formed after standardization of new technology and new products.It is a reality of current world economy that only companies that have done standardization of technology and products have been able to win in preoccupancy of new market.The most significant change in the global economy paradigm of 21st century is the globalization of corporate activities.The market is the whole world,in order to survive in these markets,recognition and expertise of the international standardization of technology and products are necessarily required.The present paper has introduced international standardization for HVAC-R products,and identified future standardization activity for HVAC-R industry.
