Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea L.var.botrytis L.),consisting of about 80% leaf and 20% flower,is a popular vegetable in many countries including China.The cauliflower leaves (CL) contain high amounts of protein and fiber which are suitable as animal feed,but they are perishable because of its high moisture content (about 90.0% of fresh matter (FM) (Cao et al.,2011).
