There are many kinds of learning media today.Here,what is the most used learning media? In addition,does this choice of media have any relationship with learning strategies,especially self-regulated learning which receiving more attention nowadays? This research used the data from the questionnaire,which 300 students of Japanese universities in Kanto area participated in 2014.Answers of open-ended question asking the most used learning media are sorted in five groups.The most used media is unspecified Internet pages,with the answer of 109 students.It is followed the group of 91 material books users,and 55 students have specific Internet pages to learn.11 students answered that they use personal media,and 5 answered they use TV or newspaper,and 29 did not answer this question.Among the top three groups,the group of material books has highest self-regulated learning points,and next the group of specific Internet pages,and that of unspecified pages follows.ANOVA showed that there are marginally significant difference between three(F(2,246)=2.42,p<.10),and the difference between first and third group is significant in Fisher's LSD.Current students seem use new media immoderately,but this research suggests that it is important to direct them to be able to choose appropriate learning media.
