Single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) have attracted great attention for 20 years, because of their excellent physical properties.Especially, intrinsic high electron mobility is very attractive for the electronic device applications.However, mixed chirality production has been one of the most serious problems for both basic research and practical applications.To solve this problem, we have investigated separation methods of SWCNTs using gel column chromatography from 2008.Recently, we have developed "multicolumn gel chromatography" which realizes the precise structure sorting of semiconducting (s-) SWCNTs with simultaneous metal/semiconductor separation.
