Hot summer and cold winter climate zone is the non-central heating area in China,but the indoor thermal comfort is poor in winter.The residents in this region have their own adaptive comfort behaviors,which serve as the fundamental information for the improvement of thermal comfort and energy conservation in this region.Taking Hangzhou,a typical city in this region,as an example,two households were selected for the measurement of indoor thermal comfort in winter.The parameters of indoor temperature and relative humidity,black bulb temperature,carbon dioxide concentration,air velocity,frequency of opening windows and usage of air conditioners and heaters were recorded between January 2017 and March 2017,and questionnaire surveys were conducted.Based on the collected data,present situation of the indoor thermal environment of two families were analyzed as well as the subjective evaluation of thermal sensation and adaptive thermal comfort behavior such as clothing,opening windows,heating etc.PMV and aPMV were used to estimate the thermal comfort.The conclusions show that the clothing and using air conditioners behaviors have a significant correlation with indoor temperature and the adaptive behavior greatly influences the thermal sensation in low temperature environment.
