Tests and analysis methods of variable displacement oil pump are introduced in this paper.Tests contain outlet pressure test,speed characteristic test,pressure fluctuation test,steady state temperature characteristic test,cavitation characteristic test and so on.Oil pumps performance parameters such as low-rate,outlet pressure,volume efficiency,pressure fluctuations,durability and cavitation are evaluated.According to the actual requirements,the testing case and the corresponding load-condition were determined,and a reasonable scheme for performance testing of the oil pump was proposed.Some noticeable problems in testing were put forward and the methods of collecting and analyzing the testing data were suggested.
