Recently,Professor Ismail and his collaborators have obtained many interesting results on multivariate polynomials orthogonal on the unit disk in the complex plane(together with their q-analogue)such as the complex Hermite polynomials.In this talk,I will present some results on a family of 2D polynomials orthogonal to a general family of measures on the unit disk and discuss their recurrence relations and related properties.
