　　Phosphorus(P)is an essential macro-element for higher plant growth and development.During seed development,phytate is the storage form of phosphorus in seeds,and plays very important roles in the phosphate sensing and homeostasis; in contrast,during germination,phytate is degraded by phytases and provides the germinating seedling with the released Pi,mineral nutrients and myo-inositol.
