Silicon/organic heterojunction solar cells(HSCs)made of crystalline silicon as absorber and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)as holeselective conducting layers emerges as promising solution-processed,low-cost photovoltaic devices. The passivated hole-selective contact to n-type silicon(n-Si)substrate,is formed by the PEDOT:PSS with large conduction band offset to Si for electron rejection, separated from the Si by a wide gap tunneling SiOx layer.
