Interest in on-line learning is increasing rapidly.A few years ago members of the LivePhoto Physics Group received grants from the U.S.National Science Foundation* to create a series of short single-topic on-line activities that invite introductory physics students to make a prediction about a physical phenomenon and test it through observations and/or video analysis.
