Lipid vesicle was prepared by ultrasonic method and formed supported lipid bilayers on SiO2 surface. The anionic polyelectrolyte with hydrophobic end group was introduced, then the hydrophobic end insert into the bilayer and cause the bilayer curl by the electrostatic interaction between the lipid molecule and the polyelectrolyte. The curling bilayer further formed new vesicle with the polyelectrolyte embedded inside. It is the first time to implemente the vesicle - bilayer - vesicle transition of phospholipid on SiO2 surface. The mechanism of the transition was studied by the combination of QCM - D with ellipsometry.
