Blue phase liquid crystals(BPLCs)show potential for application in photoelectric devices due to their advantages of fast response time,molecular self-assembly structure and macro optic isotropic.Although,the temperature range of BPLC has been broaden to more than 60 ℃ by introduction of polymer networks into the declinations,there are several challenges remaining to be confronted before the wide applications of PS-BPLC can be realized: weak stability,low driving capacity,hysteresis,and residual birefringence.
