National Library of the Philippines (NLP) considers resource sharing as an important means to enhance the value and further the advancement of research.We are living in a world in which people contribute to each other and depend on each other for existence.With the rapid growth of publications nowadays, not a single library in this modem world can possibly manage to have a complete collection of all materials of the world by itself.0nly by implementing the policy of resource sharing, can the wealth created jointly by peoples of the world be fully utilized.This paper intends to present NLP s contributions in sharing of library resources which highlights the establishments of multicultural sections within NLP.The establishments of such sections/comers contribute a lot for the realization of resources sharing in Asia which is not an easy task.But since we have started, NLP would like to go forward together with libraries of other countries toward this goal.We have made our own contributions on this part and is continuing to develop our services and facilities to reach out for more libraries and researchers.
