Objective The protocol for culture and differentiation of primary mouse tracheal epithelial cells (MTECs) has been established by many researchers.It is acknowledged to detach cells from mouse tracheas with pronase, proliferate in a special growth factor-enriched media, and finally differentiate into primary MTECs at an air-liquid interface(ALl).
