In this study,based on meteorological date,the temporal and spatial distribution of major diseases and insect pests date in Cornus officinalis producing areas was analysed.The date have been detected at monitoring stations in Hanzhong,Shaanxi province (including 38 stations),Liuan and Huangshan,Anhui province (including 30 stations),Jincheng,Shanxi province (including 21 stations),Luoyang and Nanyang,Henan province (including 52 stations),Hangzhou,Zhejiang province (including 28 stations),Xiangyang and Shiyan,Hubei province (including 31 stations),respectively.Considering the variable of the terrain attribute date,IDW(Inverse Distance Weight,IDW)was used to predict the spatial distribution of diseases and insect pests in Cornus officinalis.Results showed that the power of this model is in its visualization.Meanwhile this model can be used for predicting the occurrence and distribution of diseases and insect pests in Cornus officinalis.
