Monoclinic phase bismuth phosphate (BiPO4) nanocrystals have been synthesized in the oleic acid (OA) solution through one-pot solvothermal route.The as-obtained BiPO4 nanocrystals were characterized by several techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy (DRS), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
