Carbendazim (methyl 1H-benzimidazol-2-yl carbamate) is one of the most widely used fungicides in agriculture worldwide, but has been reported adverse effects on animal health and ecosystem function.Microbial remediation is a cost-effective way to clean carbendazim contamination.Trichoderma strains are widely used as biological control agents against fungal plant pathogens, but most Trichoderma strains are sensitive to carbendazim.
