This study investigated the effects of Ultraviolet C (UVC) radiation and in-package methods on the quality of asparagus spears (Asparagus officinalis L.) harvested in Korea.Asparagus spears were treated with UV-C irradiation(15 and 20 kJ/m2), 2packed in either OTR film(Oxygen Transmission Rate, 10,000 cc/m ·day·atm)or perforated film as control.
