　　This research determined the effects of wheat straw biochar on organic matter degradation and effective fertilizer implications during swine manure and straw composting.An increase in polycondensed structures and the presence of more stable organic matter was in the mature compost with the straw biochar addition.However,considering the potential toxicity and suitable fertilizer,the 10-15%biochar addition was recommended in this study.
