Objective: Dysphagia is a well-known complication after anterior cervical surgery. It was claimed that the Zero-profile Implant System can avoid or decrease the incidence of dysphagia. However, dysphagia after anterior cervical decompression and fusion (ACDF) with the Zero-profile Implant System remains controversial, and the previous studies have generally been small-sized.The objective of this study is to determine the incidence of dysphagia after ACDF with the Zero-profile Implant System. Methods: The literatures were collected from PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane library and China Knowledge Resource Integrated Database by using keywords as "(Zero-profile OR Zero-p) AND (dysphagia OR [swallowing dysfunction])".The software STATA (Version 13.0) was used for statistical analysis.
