Cryptosporidium parvum is the most important common enteropathogen inhabiting in many animals.Infections of C.parvum in immunocompetent livestock are commonly asymptomatic or self-limited,but it can be life-threaten in immunocomprised or immunodeficent hosts.Unfortunately, there have been no efficient treatment and prevention measures to control cryptosporidiosis currently and better understanding of the immune response to this parasite is required.
