Solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) with spiro-OMeTAD (2,2 ,7,7-tetrakis (N,N-dimethoxyphenylamine)-9,9-spirobifluorene) hole transporting material (HTM) have been widely investigated since its first report in 1998.[1] However, all of these investigations are based on noble counter electrode such as Au or Ag deposited on HTM surface by thermal evaporation under high vacuum condition.
