Objective: PTK7 is a tyrosine kinase receptor with catalytic activity, playing important function in normal development.Currently, abnormal expression of PTK7 has been found in colon cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer and acute myeloid leukemia.Our previous study identified it as a specific membrane marker for stem cell enriched spheroid derived from head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, however, up to date, the biologic meaning of PTK7 expression in head and neck cancer and it function are not clearly.
