Efficient Low-Bandgap Polymer Solar Cells with High Open-Circuit Voltage and Good Stability

  In this paper,we report a novel D-A1-D-A2–type low-bandgap polymer based on difluorobenzothiadiazole(ffBT)and diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)electronaccepting units and processed via a temperature dependent aggregation approach.Although the bandgap of PffBTT2-DPPT2 is small(1.43 eV),PSCs based on PffBTT2-DPPT2 can still achieve a relatively high VOC of 0.81 V,indicating a very small VOC loss of 0.62 V.PSCs based on PffBTT2-DPPT2 not only exhibit high power conversion efficiencies up to 8.63%but also excellent air,thermal and shelf stability.
