  Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence of high-intensity zone (HIZ) in the motion segment with or without lumbosacral transitional vertebrae (LSTV) caused by lumbar sacralization, furthermore, to determine whether adjacent LSTV could be related to the HIZ of intervertebral disc.
