Given the context-specific variability and uncertainty around input parameter values in Life Cycle Assessment/analysis(LCA),country-specific studies are needed for providing quantitatively more meaningful results(Larson,2006).The paper performs a review of a large portion of the existing scientific literatures that explicitly used LCA methodology,or a life-cycle approach to estimate the energy and environmental impacts of biofuels. The review is limited to energy balance and Greenhouse Gas(GHG)balance and covers a time period of more than 10 years from the 2003 as the early press time and 2014 as the latest press time.
